Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. Work setting: Fitting. Assembly. Installation. Industrial equipment and automation manufacturing. Tasks: Fit and assemble prefabricated metal parts to build heavy industrial machinery. Read blueprints to determine work requirements . Install major components such as gears, pumps, motors or hydraulic assemblies. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Forklift Operator Certification. Equipment and machinery experience: Hydraulic components. Conveyor. Automated transfer machine. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Standing for extended periods. Overtime required. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots.
